Jewellery Care

Taking proper care of your jewellery not only extends its life and lustre, but also allows you to enjoy it for many years. Follow these simple guidelines for a more enjoyable jewellery experience:

The Jewels jewellery is unique and entirely handcrafted in our workshops. Our modern designs pay homage to India's rich heritage. To preserve the authenticity of the Jewels vintage jewellery, we leave it unmarked.

  • Keep your jewellery in a dry place away from humidity, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
  • Rings and bracelets should be worn sparingly to avoid impact damage.
  • Remember to take off your rings before washing your hands or taking a shower, as soap particles can become lodged in stone settings and crevices. Soaps can also leave a film on metal and stones, making them appear dull.
  • To avoid scratching, chipping, and entanglement, keep your jewellery in its own box or pouch.
  • Before sale, all of the Jewels silver is hand polished. When exposed to air, all silver is prone to oxidation and tarnishing.
  • A gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth will restore the surface's original radiance.
  • Liquid cleaners should not be used on carved silver jewellery because the liquid will dry into the engraving.
  • When you wear gold-plated silver jewellery for an extended period of time, the plating will eventually wear away. You can have it re-plated to restore its appearance.
  • Make sure your jewellery does not come into contact with hard surfaces on a regular basis, as this will scratch or wear down the plating or enamelling.
  • Never clean your jewellery with detergent, soap, or toothpaste.
  • Jewellery should always be put on last when dressing because make-up, cosmetics, and perfumes can cause damage to delicate items.
  • All stone jewellery necessitates extra care and consideration while being worn in order to protect the setting as well as the diamond or gemstone it holds.
